What is going on?

I don't know what is happening to me. Yesterday I popped into our LYS to pick up a pattren and walked out with 2 more skeins of sock yarn! I don't even like hand knitted socks! ( I know, Blaspheme ) Help! What is going on? Maybe it's the head cold from hell which is clouding my judgment?! Yes, I still have it although I am marginally improving. On a scale on 1 - 10 I would say I am a 6. Which is a huge improvement over 5 days at the 2 level.

So here is my new yarn and I am off to finish my HandMaiden socks:

And the Needful Disco scarf that I knit for my SIL. She has reddish hair and I think it will be perfect for her.

For what it's worth, I have more converts to the felted clog slippers. My brother was here the other night and raved about the ones I gave to them for Christmas. Plus some of their friends who also were quite taken with them. I see more clogs in my future!

Bye bye for now!

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.

Nice yarn choices ... I got the same colour of the Noro sock yarn, but haven't knit with it yet, I think it willbe buried in the stash for a while. The On your Toes is a pretty colour ... I'm excited to see how it knits up.

The Disco scarf is really a pretty colour -- I like it better as a scarf than I did when it was a ball of yarn, it knit up really nice.

Clogs?! Have I seen the clogs? Maybe I should look into them since I ALREADY have a huge hole in the bottom of my slipper. Must be the extra weight from the pregnancy wearing them out:)

Love the second sock yarn, great color. Good luck knitting all the clogs too. I really should try mine out since it is nearing winter here.

The scarf turned out pretty. If I recall correctly you got that yarn on our last road trip, and I thought it was really pretty.

A lot that I've read about the Noro Sock so far says that if you soak them for awhile once finished the yarn "blooms". It's only single ply and is quite thin, but they say it totally changes once soaked. I'll be interested to see how yours turn out if you get them done before I make a pair.

Love all the sock yarn , very pretty colours ! I have the felted clog pattern from Fiber Trends , is that the same one you use ? To date I haven't knit any , the felting intimidates me for some reason . I might give it a try and knit a pair for DH . He's always handy as a guinea pig :)) . Don't let him know I said so ...
