Irish Hiking Scarf finished!

I am so annoyed! I was just in the process of posting a picture of the Irish Hiking scarf when boom.....my internet connection went down. It is now up and running but I lost my entire post. %^&^%!*
Anyway, Lauren loves the scarf and since Shannon got the Olympic sweater, she will get the scarf. I finished and blocked it yesterday and it looks lovely. It is all ready to go in the mail tomorrow. The picture is not great, draped over a chair, but my girls absolutely refuse to pose for me.



I have cast on John's Sirdar sweater in the round. I checked with Heather at Have A Yarn and she assured me she would do it that way and then seperate the front and back up where the sleeves should go. Another drop shoulder sweater so no armhole decreasing. She also assures me that it can be sewed up so the seam won't show. I will be back when the time to do that comes. In the meantime, I have almost finished the ribbing whilst watching the Oscars last night. I have bridge tonight so may or msy not get the ribbing finished. But the sweater is just stocking stitch so should go fairly quickly once I get to that point. I think I am going to put in a stripe or two around the chest area to perk it up a little.
