Shannon has kindly acted as a model and sent me pictures of the shawl. Anybody checking out these pictures might notice that she is pregnant and due with Pete's little brother in about 2 months!! She is also wearing a black metallic tank top I knit for her last fall. Actually I knit two of them and her sister has the other one. Both girls have worn them for somewhat dressy occasions.
I am working on my second mitten and I will confess that knitting with heavy wool in the hear and humidity is a huge pain. I hope my sister appreciates them!!
