The Big Boy Baby Blanket is done! Six rows of seven blocks seems a perfect size to me – 24 by 29 inches. I did an applied I cord to the edges and am very pleased with how well it came out!
I did forget to line up the start of each row up with the right colour, hence no pattern just a mishmash of the blues and greens, but I am happy with it and I am sure the recipient will be too!
Now I am on to the next project, which is a big brother bear to match the one Pete received whilst he was a patient at the Childrens' Hospital of Eastern Ontario. He became very attached to that bear and really wants a bigger one. I searched everywhere online and couldn’t find this exact pattern. So I took the dimensions, number of stitches and rows, and am trying to replicate him. Time will tell how successful I am.
Today is Mother’s day and I had French toast for breakfast and am having LOBSTER for dinner! I also had lovely calls from both daughters with good wishes! Hope all the mothers out there have a wonderful Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother's Day!
OMG, that is stunning. I am in awe. Wish I was having another baby, just to cuddle them in one of these!! Gorgeous.
