Knit Alongs

The first of the month is when all the KALs I belong to start a new sock. This month I am doing the Nancy Bush Anniversary Sock in Fleece Artist Nova Sock yarn in the natural colour. This covers 2 of my Knit-ALongs. One requires a Nancy Bush pattern and the other a white or natural yarn. And I am casting on for the Solid Mystery sock! I never have 2 pair on the go at the same time, but I have this gorgeous blue Malabrigo yarn I want to use and I think the Mystery sock will be perfect for it! The clues come out once a week, so you can only knit so much on that one.



I finished the Branching Out Scarf for Have A Yarn and blocked it this morning. It looks very nice, although it is a little narrow for my liking. But it is just to display the yarn knit up in the new lace weight so it should be fine for that! I hope to be able to drop it off on my way to the city on Wednesday.



The French Open is on this week and I must say the seeds are dropping like flies! My " Roger " was down 2 sets to 0 when I turned on the TV this morning. Once I began watching, things started to turn around for him, so there I was, stuck watching tennis all morning. I did manage to do laundry and get the banking and bills all done and he won, so it was worth my effort!

I am getting ready to go to Ottawa for a few days to babysit Shan's Things 1 & 2 whilst she and Paul take Leah with them to a wedding in Toronto. I am really looking forward to spending time with the boys!! I am sure we will have a wonderful, albeit tiring visit. At least I will be tired. I don't think I will be able to wear the boys out! So there won't be any blog posts till I get home, hopefully with good pictures of the Ottawa family!
