My DD in Ottawa has been going through another bout of the stomach flu which hits her entire household. One kid brings it home from school and then it goes through the entire family, including the littlest one and the parents. She has been dealing with this for a week now and is just worn out! This is one of the times I really wished we lived closer so I could be of some help when they need it!
We on the other hand, had a fun weekend. We went to the Trattoria in Lunenburg for dinner Friday night and then a birthday dinner party on Saturday night. Great fun! Tonight we are going out again to dinner at another friend's house. It is so hard being us! ;-)
I am coming along great guns with the jumper for Reese. I have the back finished and am at the armhole decreases for the front. But, and this is the big one, there was a knot in my ball of wool about halfway through and in the dark last evening I didn't notice that it must have been tied with a different dye lot. There is a definite and clearly defined line where the knot was.
So the big question is what to do. Frog it back or leave it as is? I am definitely leaning toward leaving it, as I have already frogged this back once by one and one half balls of wool and do not want to do it again. Then I thought I might duplicate stitch a few white stitches in across that row to lessen the impact of the dye lot change. So is it me or is it ok?
I know I have a tendency to be a bit anal, but I don't want it to look like a total idiot knit it either!
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

honestly, I can barely see a difference -- actually, I may only be thinking I see a difference (what I am seeing looks like 2 rows of a slightly brighter pink and the rest is normal)
I'd need to see it in person to really be sure there is a visible difference.
I'd need to see it in person, too. I'd lean towards the row of duplicate stitch at this point.
Yea, I can't see it either. I feel awful for your fam. in Ottawa...what a lousy time they've had.
PS: My word verification is squago
Reese thinks it looks just fine:)
