And Now (ta-dah) a Pair!

I finished the second sock yesterday. We went to the Valley for my six week checkup and I knit on the way there and over and just had the toe decreases to do last evening. I did manage to get the stripes pretty well matching. Only an anal obsessive compulsive would notice any slight discrepancy! BTW, My knee got a star rating from my surgeon and I can stop going to Physio now but will continue with exercises at home! Yay!

Having finished the socks and having bought the Magic Loop book on knitting socks with round needles, I decided to give it a try. And it works! So of course now I want to knit another pair of socks using this method. I haven't got the sock yarn I won in Heddy's contest yet, so I may scoot into Memory Lane and try some of the bamboo yarn Lexa has been talking about! Or, I could finish the cabled sweater for Miss Reese!....... What to do? Such a quandry...... hmmmmm.....

I am off to Bridgewater to have lunch with a friend and I might just run to Mahone Bay and Have a Yarn to get the proper size needles. I have the Addi Turbos in every size, but this needs the 32 in. length and all of mine are 24. Another quandry..... And yet I can almost guarentee that socks will be started using this method some time later today!

Bye bye for now!

I can get the yarn to you so you don't have to buy yarn today (call me at home or at work) -- Although the bamboo feels wonderful in the hand, so you may want to buy it at the store! I am not sure of the content of your prize as it is a fleece artist mill end (pretty though!)

ooopps ... forgot to comment on the socks -- they are really pretty! What is the yarn? Bring to Lanes on Wedneday for KN show and tell, if you can.
