New Granddaughter!

Just a quick note to announce the safe arrival of Reese Lilianne Anderson! She was born at 3:04 this morning........7 lbs 4 oz and of course, gorgeous. I haven't seen pictures yet, but I am assured by her parents that she is indeed, gorgeous. I am really tired, having spent much of the night awake, waiting for the phone to ring.

Now I have to do laundry and then head off to Bridgewater for a hair and pedicure appointment. Tomorrow my car has an appointment in Halifax to be serviced and one of my friends is going with me. I owe her a birthday lunch so we are going to this place in the Hydrostone area that I cannot remember the name of, but it is a lovely lunch spot. Saturday is the funeral for my dear friend, so that will be a hard day. I will head out to Saint John early Sunday morning and should arrive shortly after the lunch hour. I am really looking forward to meeting the new little one. And of course seeing her parents. Not sure how long I will be there, as long as Lauren wants or needs me. I am guessing that there will not be much progress made on the shawl in the next little while, but it is coming along and is about 22 inches long now. Only another 38 inches to go!!
