Back to Normal

I am finally feeling back to normal again. What a miserable bug!

I picked up my new glasses Tuesday and between the new prescription and the flu, I was walking around like a drunken sailor. But I am pleased with them.....I can read again without having to take off my glasses. I don't have to tip my head way back to read the computer screen. I didn't realize how much I was compensating for with my other glasses till I got these.

My orthotics arrived whilst I was away and I finally put them in my sneakers on Tues. and wore them around for the next few days. The jury is still out on that one. I do know they are too long for all my other shoes and only fit in that one pair of sneakers, so I shall have to make an appointment to get that fixed!

I have finally been able to knit again and like the good person that I am, I am working on the sleeves for John's sweater. I must say I hate working on sleeves, increasing all the time and just boring. Anyway, here is a picture of them to date:

I am off to household chores, so

Bye bye for now!

Releived to hear you're finally on the mend. Gee, you don't do anything by halves, do you ?!?!
Flu, new lenses, new "feet"... wyy not get it all over with at once?

Glad you're feeling better! Sleeves are looking good. I really should get into doing two at once.

Glad you are feeling better!

I'm enjoying watching that sweater grow. My hubby won't let me knit him one :(

Happy Easter!

I know what Dorothy means - it would be a waste for me to knit one for Travis. He'd never wear it. He's a t-shirt guy. Just as well - he's 6'4" and probably goes 275, so it'd be a lot of knitting!
