Today is the start of the 2006 Winter Olympics and I am so excited for them to start. Now they have become even more fun by me participating in the Knitting Olympics as well. I have finished the slippers for Lauren and they are in the mail and I did my gauge swatch for my sweater. I think I need a size larger needle to get the gauge, so we will stop in Mahone Bay on our way to the city to pick them up. I hope they have some in stock in 4.5 mm.
I just looked out the window and it is snowing. Quite a little flurry too. If this keeps up it could make for a hateful drive this afternoon.
Must go now and shower, pack, etc.
Bye bye for now!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they have the needles you need in stock.
Hate to tell you, but it's been snowing down here since about 8 this morning; small flakes but adding up quick - it's moving your way. It started an hour or so earlier, and is much worse, in Yarmouth.
